On the morning of May 2nd, leaders of Bac Nha Trang ward confirmed that they had directed professional departments to conduct inspections and verify reflections related to a Thai tourist buying ice cream at an unusually high price in the Nha Trang beach area.
Previously, information spread on Thai social networks about a tourist from this country during a trip to Nha Trang buying an ice cream from a street vendor for 100,000 VND.
Although they have paid, tourists still expressed frustration because they believe that the price is unreasonable and the quality of the ice cream is not in line with the amount of money spent.
Images posted by tourists on social networks show that the incident is said to have occurred in the coastal area of Pham Van Dong street, belonging to Bac Nha Trang ward.
Currently, local authorities are continuing to verify the case to clarify information and handle it according to regulations if violations are detected.
