By noon on May 2nd, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 16, Fire and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police is coordinating with Thanh My Tay Ward Police and functional units to blockade, examine the scene, investigate and clarify the cause of the fire at the house on Ngo Tat To street, Thanh My Tay ward.
Initial information, at about 9 am on the same day, a fire broke out at a house on Ngo Tat To street. Discovering the incident, many people shouted and used fire extinguishers to put out the fire.
The fire broke out strongly, smoke and fire billowed up. The incident was reported to functional agencies.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 16 mobilized fire trucks and officers and soldiers to be present at the scene to coordinate with functional agencies of Thanh My Tay ward to control and extinguish the fire afterwards.
In addition, the police also coordinated with people to support bringing 3 trapped people out, while the remaining 2 people escaped on their own.
Currently, the cause of the fire as well as property damage are being investigated and statistically clarified by the police.
