On July 21, information from Trieu Phong Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that functional agencies are investigating and clarifying the cause of a house fire that killed one person in the area.
According to initial information, at about 3:10 pm on July 20, a fire suddenly broke out fiercely at the level-four house of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hau's family (residing in Nai Cuu village, Trieu Phong commune).
The fire killed Ms. Le Thi T (born in 1977, Mr. Hau's wife). It is known that Ms. T has mental illness. At the time of the fire, Ms. T was home alone, while Mr. Hau was taking care of a sick relative at the hospital.
Immediately after receiving a report from people, functional forces urgently arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire, and at the same time conducted scene examination, autopsy and investigation to clarify the cause of the incident.
