On September 18, the Gia Lai Provincial Market Management Department had official information about the discovery of hundreds of kilograms of foul-smelling pork in the phi box.
Currently, the unit has taken samples of labor workshops at business households in the area for inspection and testing, thereby acting as a basis for handling according to regulations.
Previously, on September 17, an interdisciplinary delegation including: Gia Lai Provincial Market Management Department, Gia Lai Provincial Police Economic Police Department, Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Product Quality Management (Department of Agriculture and Environment of Gia Lai Province) inspected business household G.Q in Quy Nhon Ward.
At the time of inspection, the business household was trading in products including: special-class, type 1 and type 1 warehouses that had not been packaged.
The self-produced warehouses used pork, pork fat... along with value-added invoices. Through inspection, it was discovered that the facility had 2,000 kg of pork thighs and 3,000 kg of pork fat, both with invoices and documents.
In particular, 4,900 kg of pork skin contained in 98 blue plastic pipes gave off a foul smell and changed color. The owner could not present invoices or documents proving their origin.
The inspection team took workshop samples as a basis for handling according to regulations. The above pig skin was confessed to being bought floating on the market, without any legal documents.
The case is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities of Gia Lai province.
