On the afternoon of June 30, information from Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 (Traffic Police Department of Lao Cai Provincial Police), on provincial road 161 (Van Hoa - Kim Son route), the section passing Bao Thang commune, at Km24+500, a landslide and subsidence of the road surface occurred.
In addition to subsidence points, many sections on the route also have positive taluy landslides, causing mud and soil to spill onto the road surface, posing a potential risk of traffic unsafety, especially in prolonged rain conditions.
Functional forces recommend that people and vehicles reduce speed when traveling through the area, absolutely do not enter positions that have been barricaded and warning signs are placed. In case it is not really necessary, traffic participants should proactively choose other routes.


Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 is coordinating with Bao Thang Commune Police to organize warnings, divert traffic and ensure traffic safety in the landslide area.
