On the evening of November 19, in an effort to respond to the flood peak in the eastern area of Gia Lai province, the Command for the Defense of Area 6 - An Nhon Dong coordinated with functional forces to deploy evacuation work and relocate people in deeply flooded areas in An Nhon Nam commune.
As of 3:00 p.m. on November 19, the forces have evacuated and relocated more than 100 people in isolated and deeply flooded areas to safe temporary shelters.

A representative of the Command of the Defense of Area 6 - An Nhon Dong said: "The top task at this time is to ensure absolute safety for people's lives. Relief and support work will continue to be implemented throughout, in parallel with monitoring flood water levels to have the most flexible and effective response measures."
In the eastern area of Gia Lai, the authorities also organized the safe evacuation of passengers on trains SE7, SE1 and prepared to continue evacuating trains SE3.
Due to flooding, trains were towed from Dieu Tri station to Binh Dinh and Phuoc Nhon stations. Passengers on the train were served free meals and drinks.
