According to updated data at 8:00 am on July 27, the water level at many hydropower reservoirs across the country is lower than the normal water level, in which some reservoirs have large inflows and are increasing discharge through the plant.

In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has a water level of 107.21 m, a normal water level of 120 m. The water flow to the reservoir reaches 898 m3/s, the total discharge volume is 1,227.5 m3/s, of which discharge through the spillway is 507 m3/s and through the plant is 720.5 m3/s. The reservoir is opening 1 deep discharge gate.

In the Northwest region, Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 287.23 m, a water inflow of 1,894 m3/s and a total discharge of 1,535 m3/s through the plant. Son La Lake has a water level of 198.07 m, a water inflow of 2,712 m3/s, a total discharge of 3,205 m3/s through the plant.

Hoa Binh Lake has a water level of 101.04 m, which is 117 m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the lake reached 3,955 m3/s, the total discharge volume was 4,442 m3/s, including 1,486 m3/s through the spillway and 2,956 m3/s through the plant. The lake is opening 1 deep discharge gate.

Ban Chat Lake has a water level of 469.87 m, a water inflow of 210 m3/s and a total discharge of 96 m3/s through the plant. Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 369.88 m, close to the normal water level of 370 m, no discharge at the time of update.

In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake has a water level of 150.9 m, a water inflow of 568 m3/s and a total discharge of 482 m3/s through the plant. Khe Bo Lake has a water level of 64.43 m, close to the normal water level of 65 m, a total discharge of 95.5 m3/s. Quang Tri Lake has a water level of 458.15 m, a total discharge of 17 m3/s through the plant.

In the South Central Coast, most reservoirs have lower water levels than normal water levels and do not discharge water. Vinh Son A reservoir has a water level of 767.09 m, total discharge volume of 5.35 m3/s through the plant. Song Hinh reservoir has a water level of 200.95 m, recorded water inflow of -13.23 m3/s and total discharge volume of 15.22 m3/s through the plant.

In the Central Highlands, Ialy Lake has a water level of 498.66 m, a water inflow of 130 m3/s, and a total discharge of 465 m3/s through the plant. Se San 3 Lake has a water level of 304.35 m, a total discharge of 467 m3/s; Se San 3A Lake has a water level of 238.6 m, a total discharge of 502 m3/s.

Se San 4 Lake has a water level of 212.51 m, a water inflow of 450 m3/s and a total discharge of 450 m3/s through the plant. Buon Kuop Lake has a water level of 409.9 m, a total discharge of 15.05 m3/s through the spillway dam.

In the Southeast region, Tri An Lake has a water level of 51.06 m, a water inflow of 620 m3/s and a total discharge volume of 195 m3/s through the plant. Thac Mo Lake has a water level of 201.09 m, a water inflow of 201.21 m3/s and does not discharge water at the updated time.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting on July 27, the Northern region will be sunny with the highest temperature around 31 - 34 degrees C. In the late afternoon and evening, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain.

The Central Highlands area will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and night, with locally heavy rain.

The Southern region has rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain. Rain concentrates in the afternoon and night.
