Short-term hydrographic forecast and warning bulletin on July 29 of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said:

With the Thao River, the water level at Yen Bai station and Phu Tho station is rising and is forecast to continue to rise.

Monitoring data at Yen Bai station at 7:00 am on July 29 was at 25.72m, at the same time at Phu Tho station at 12.60m.

For the Lo River, the water level at Tuyen Quang station and Vu Quang station (Phu Tho) is rising due to rain in the basin. Tuyen Quang Hydropower Reservoir still maintains 1 bottom discharge gate at 4:00 PM on July 24, 2026, according to telegram No. 8258/CD-BNNMT.

Monitoring data at Tuyen Quang station at 7:00 a.m. on July 29 was at 17.40m, at the same time at Vu Quang station at 9.97m.

It is forecasted that in the Lower Lo River, the water level at Tuyen Quang station will rise in the first 12 hours and then decrease, and the water level at Vu Quang station will continue to rise.

With the Da River, the flow to Hoa Binh reservoir is fluctuating according to the above-level hydropower regulation.

At 7:00 AM on July 29, the water level of Hoa Binh Lake was at 39.58m.

With the Red River, the downstream water level at the Hanoi hydrological station is fluctuating according to the regulation of the upper-level hydropower plant and is affected by tides.

At 7:00 AM on July 29, the water level at Hanoi station was at 4.32m.

It is forecasted that the water level downstream of the Red River at Hanoi station will continue to fluctuate upwards due to the influence of rain in the basin and the regulation of reservoirs (Tuyen Quang reservoir, Hoa Binh reservoir still maintain opening 1 bottom discharge gate).
