Water levels of some hydropower reservoirs in the North on September 16th

Northern hydropower reservoirs are lower than the normal water level, of which Hoa Binh reservoir has a water flow rate of 3,519 m3/s, the highest in the group of reservoirs in the Northwest region.

According to updated data at 2:15 PM on September 16, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has an upstream water level of 116.6 m, 3.4 m lower than the normal water level. The inflow to the reservoir is at 110 m3/s, total discharge is 0 m3/s.

In the Northwest region, Hoa Binh reservoir has a water level of 111.66 m, 5.34 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the reservoir reached 3,519 m3/s, total discharge volume 242 m3/s.

Son La Lake has a water level of 211.77 m, lower than the normal water level by 3.23 m. Inflow to the lake is 1,566 m3/s, total discharge is 1,010 m3/s.

Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 291.54 m, lower than the normal water level by 3.46 m. Water flow to the lake is 492 m3/s, total discharge is 1,005 m3/s.

Ban Chat Lake has a water level of 471.56 m, lower than the normal water level by 3.44 m; water inflow is 81 m3/s and is not discharged. Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 369.01 m, lower than 0.99 m; water inflow is 62 m3/s, total discharge is 0 m3/s.

Meanwhile, Thac Ba reservoir has a water level of 55.22 m, 2.78 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the reservoir reached 255 m3/s, total discharge volume 292.48 m3/s.
