Water levels of hydropower reservoirs nationwide on September 15th

Northern hydropower reservoirs are all lower than the normal water level, except for some reservoirs with notable discharge levels such as Son La, Hoa Binh and Lai Chau.

According to data from the system updated at 3:30 PM on September 15, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has an upstream water level of 116.4 m, 120 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the reservoir is 217 m3/s, total discharge volume 0 m3/s.

In the Northwest region, Son La reservoir has an upstream water level of 211.55 m, which is 215 m lower than the normal water level. The inflow to the reservoir reached 731 m3/s, while the total discharge volume was 1,784 m3/s.

Hoa Binh Lake has an upstream water level of 110.49 m, which is 117 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the lake is at 3,214 m3/s, total discharge volume is 237 m3/s.

Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 292.28 m, 295 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the lake is 583 m3/s, total discharge is 479 m3/s.

Ban Chat Lake has an upstream water level of 471.41 m, 475 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the lake is 431 m3/s, total discharge is 191 m3/s.

Meanwhile, Huoi Quang reservoir has a water level of 368.85 m, lower than the normal water level of 370 m. Inflow to the reservoir is 50 m3/s and total discharge is 0 m3/s.

Thac Ba Lake has an upstream water level of 55.14 m, lower than the normal water level of 58 m. Inflow to the lake reached 330 m3/s, total discharge volume 292.57 m3/s.
