In the next 3 hours, convective clouds will continue to develop, maintaining showers with thunderstorms and lightning in the above areas, then it is likely to expand to Thu Dau Mot ward, Binh Tan ward, Binh Tri Dong ward, Dong Hung Thuan ward, Tan Thong Hoi ward, Thoi An ward, Phu Lam ward and neighboring areas.
Common rainfall is from 5-40 mm, in some places over 40 mm. During thunderstorms, people need to be wary of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind at level 5-7, equivalent to 8-17 m/s. Heavy rain can also cause localized flooding in some areas.
