Regarding the series of accidents that occurred on July 9, at the Tran Dai Nghia - Dai La intersection (Hanoi), by noon of the same day, the authorities were still taking steps to investigate the cause.
Initially, Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 - Hanoi Traffic Police Department determined that the female driver of the car that caused the accident was Ms. N.T.H (50 years old, residing in Hanoi). At the same time, the authorities also counted 6 injured victims who are being treated at the hospital.
Check the alcohol concentration and quickly test the female driver for drugs and do not detect any violations.
Ms. Nguyen Phuong Anh (34 years old, residing in Tuong Mai ward, Hanoi) was still shocked when recalling the above incident.
According to Ms. Phuong Anh, at around 7:45 a.m., she was standing at the Dai La - Tran Dai Nghia intersection when she saw a white car going from Dai La to Tran Dai Nghia.
After that, the car suddenly crashed into many motorbikes waiting at a red light, then crashed into a tree in front of house number 239 Tran Dai Nghia.
"After the strong crash, everyone saw a female driver coming out of the car in a huff and her face was stunned. The victims are lying everywhere on the road," said Ms. Phuong Anh.
People nearby quickly called for help and took the victims to the side of the road to wait for ambulances to arrive.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh (55 years old, residing in Hanoi) - one of the victims of the above incident - said that when he was riding a motorbike from Dai La street to Tran Dai Nghia, he heard a loud noise behind him.
Before he could imagine what had happened, Mr. Anh was hit by a car and thrown about 3 meters away. But fortunately, Mr. Anh only suffered scratches on his skin.
The cause of the incident is being investigated.
