Soc Trang - Fishermen and local authorities fight against illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing.

On September 20, the Naval Region 2 Command coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Soc Trang province to organize the program "Vietnam Navy as a support for fishermen to go offshore and stick to the sea in 2024" in Tran De town, Tran De district.

At the program, representatives of Brigade 167, Command of Naval Region 2, disseminated information about the situation of seas and islands; the operation of Vietnamese fishing vessels; and some guidelines on safe and sustainable fishing in accordance with the law.
