Located in Lien Chieu ward, Da Nang city, Trung Son forest is located between two major traffic axes, the Nguyen Tat Thanh extension and the belt road.

Although the four sides are industrial parks, resettlement areas and new urban areas that are constantly growing, the forest still retains its peaceful appearance, becoming a rare "green lung" in the middle of the increasingly dense concrete sea.
For the people of Trung Son village, the forest is not only a natural shield that helps the village cope with many storms. It is also a common memory of many generations, a testament to history and a symbol of the spirit of solidarity of the people in the village.

From the wartime until the strong wave of urbanization, the people here still wholeheartedly protect each tree canopy, each piece of land through the incense passed down from generation to generation.

Amidst the modern life changing day by day, Trung Son forest with its forested green trees hundreds of years old still stands there, green and enduring, just like the Trung Son people have preserved their village for many years.
Mr. Ha Thuc Vinh, head of Trung Son village, said that the villagers have preserved the forest for generations as a treasure. According to the village's village ceremony, this is a forbidden forest, no one is allowed to cut down trees or cut down firewood.

"To protect the forest, the villagers have also banned taking sand for houses. The villagers have reminded each other for many generations to preserve and prevent anyone from touching the forest," said Mr. Vinh.
As a person who has been attached to Trung Son for life, Mr. Vinh hopes that the city will quickly solve problems and soon implement solutions to contribute to forest protection, restoration, conservation and restoration of historical sites.

In the memory of Ms. Ha Thi Oanh, a resident of Trung Son village, the forest has been a place that has been attached to her for more than half of her life.
"The villagers are all united to protect the forest, protect the village, and preserve the precious incense and uocations that have been passed down for generations. Every year, on the 14th of the 4th lunar month, the villagers hold a fee-for-all worshiping ceremony to commemorate those who built the village and protected the forest. This is also the occasion for children and grandchildren from far away to gather in the village, returning to their homeland, said Ms. Oanh.

For the people of Trung Son village, protecting the forest is protecting the village, so the 14th of the 4th lunar month every year becomes a sacred festival of the whole community.
To protect each piece of forest land, Trung Son people choose to live with the forest, keep the incense, maintain traditional rituals, preserve the water, each precious piece of land of the sacred forest.

More than anyone else, Trung Son people always hope that the forest will soon be recognized as a city-level relic, with a mechanism to preserve and restore historical works and ecological landscapes here.
