At the conference to promote investment in the Da Nang Free Trade Zone and Logistics Infrastructure on November 28, Mr. Tran Thanh Hai - Deputy Director of the Import-Export Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade - emphasized the special significance of the conference when taking place in the context of the Prime Minister's recent issuance of Decision 1129/QD-TTg approving the Vietnam Logistics Service Development Strategy for the period 2025 - 2035, with a vision to 2050.
This is a turning point orientation, creating motivation for localities, including Da Nang, to deploy a modern, green logistics model and deeply integrate into the global supply chain.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Thanh Hai said that attracting investment in logistics infrastructure is an important step, especially in the context of Da Nang restructuring its economy and identifying logistics as one of the pillars of development.
With its central location, strategic connection point on the North-South axis and the East-West Economic Corridor, Da Nang possesses a rare advantage to become an international trade hub and logistics center of the region.

According to Mr. Hai, the recent process of merging the border with Quang Nam has not only expanded the administrative scale but also created new development space for the city, contributing to promoting a more methodical logistics infrastructure, increasing attraction for investors.
Along with the orientation of becoming a high-tech center, an international financial center, Da Nang is qualified to aim for the role of an economic center of the Central region and the whole country.
The Deputy Director of the Import-Export Department said that the conference was an opportunity for management agencies, experts and businesses to exchange, share and connect cooperation in the logistics field. Da Nang City clearly demonstrates a dynamic spirit, committed to accompanying investors with transparency and maximum support.
