According to Khuc Thua Du commune, in the first 6 months of 2026, the People's Committee of Khuc Thua Du commune, Hai Phong city, has focused on synchronously implementing infrastructure development tasks, accelerating the progress of public investment, and at the same time strengthening propaganda and mobilizing people to agree in site clearance work, creating conditions for the implementation of key projects in the area.
Currently, the locality is implementing 8 projects, including 1 transitional project, the Kien Quoc Martyrs' Cemetery Construction Project, and 7 projects under the 2026 public investment plan, such as: renovating and upgrading rural traffic routes; building classrooms at Kien Quoc Secondary School; multi-purpose vaulted houses at Dong Xuyen Kindergarten and Hong Phuc Kindergarten; auxiliary items of the commune People's Committee headquarters; building a new Bo Commune Market... with a total investment of more than 56.65 billion VND. To date, the disbursed value of public investment capital reached 18.86 billion VND, equal to 55.2% of the 2026 capital plan.
To ensure the progress of projects, the commune promotes propaganda and mobilizes people to voluntarily comply with the policy of site clearance, dismantling works violating traffic corridors and irrigation works. With the involvement of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, many obstacles in site clearance work have been removed.
Serving the project to renovate and upgrade the road from Nhan Ly village to Bong Lai village, people voluntarily dismantled 27 temporary houses, shacks, and livestock barns; 12 bridges across the canal along with many trees and crops.
For the road project from Provincial Road 396 to the old kindergarten area of Quang Ruc village, 11 housing and temporary houses serving business along with trees and crops have been cleared. In addition, people also voluntarily dismantled 2 livestock barns to serve the construction of the road from Lung Quy village to Bo Duong village.
This result shows the consensus and support of the people for the local infrastructure development investment policy, and at the same time affirms the effectiveness of mass mobilization in project implementation.
Accelerating the progress of public investment contributes to completing the transportation system, education infrastructure, trade and civil works, creating motivation to promote socio-economic development and improve the quality of life of people in the area.
