On July 14, Xuan Phuong Ward People's Committee (Hanoi) had information about the progress of land acquisition and site clearance for the road 70 expansion project.
According to Xuan Phuong Ward People's Committee, so far the project site clearance work has achieved many positive results.
The ward has completed the issuance of land recovery notices and inventory for 474 households and 12 organizations; completed inventory dossiers for 324 households; determined the origin of land for 319 households; developed a draft compensation and support plan for 280 plans; publicly announced the draft compensation and support plan for 84 plans.
In particular, 401 households and 9 organizations have been propagated and mobilized to agree to hand over the site, reaching a rate of 84.36%, and at the same time handed over the clean site section to the investor for construction deployment.
Mr. Lam Quang Thao - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Xuan Phuong ward highly appreciated the involvement of the entire political system, Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, agencies, and units in implementing Resolution No. 09-NQ/DU on leading and directing the site clearance work for the road 70 expansion project.
Secretary of Xuan Phuong ward praised the spirit of responsibility, consensus, and support of the majority of people for the policy of implementing the 70th Street project; many households have proactively coordinated, complied with inventory, and agreed to hand over land, contributing to positive changes in site clearance work.
Besides the achieved results, Mr. Lam Quang Thao also pointed out the subjective causes that need to be overcome, including the leadership and direction role of the heads of some units not being really drastic; management and administration work is still clumsy, not ensuring clear people, clear tasks, clear responsibilities; coordination between departments, divisions, and units is not synchronized; the professional capacity of some officials is still limited; inspection, supervision, and reporting to serve leadership and direction have not met requirements.
Regarding tasks for the coming time, the Secretary of Xuan Phuong ward requested the entire political system to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement Resolution No. 09-NQ/DU, striving to complete the handover of the entire clean site to the investor no later than September 20, 2026.
Agencies and units urgently review and adjust plans according to the "6 clear" principle, ensuring unified direction; strengthen coordination with relevant units, especially Tay Mo ward and Son Dong commune; strictly implement information and reporting regimes; proactively stick to city departments and branches to remove difficulties.
At the same time, assigning the Party Committee's Inspection Committee to strengthen the supervision of the implementation of Resolution 09; promote propaganda, mobilization, and fully prepare conditions to implement land recovery measures in accordance with the law when necessary.
