According to initial information, at around 12:00 on April 23, Co Nhue 1 Ward Police (Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi) received a report from local residents about a man lying motionless in a face-down position in the square area behind A3 Building, An Binh Apartment.
Immediately after receiving the report, the police force of Co Nhue 1 ward quickly arrived at the scene and determined that the victim had died.
Initially, it was determined that the victim was a 38-year-old man (residing in Lieu Giai ward, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi), living in building A3, An Binh apartment building.
Through checking images from security cameras, it was discovered that the victim was riding an elevator from the 15th floor to the 35th floor, then following the escape stairs to the rooftop and falling to the ground.
On the same afternoon, speaking with reporters, a leader of Co Nhue 1 Ward Police confirmed the above incident and said that the police are verifying and investigating the cause of the victim's death.
