The fatal incident occurred at the construction site of the sewer road for An Thanh 63-64, in Thanh Binh quarter, Thuan An ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
The deceased victim was identified as Mr. D.V.C (born in 1990, permanent resident of Long Dien hamlet, Tuy Phuoc Dong commune, Gia Lai province).
Initial information, on the evening of July 23, Mr. D.V.C went to work but could not return home, and his family members tried to contact him but could not reach him. On the morning of July 24, relatives came to the construction site where Mr. D.V.C worked on An Thanh 63-64 Street.

Here, relatives discovered Mr. D.V.C in a motionless position under the holes of the project. There was an electric wire near the victim. Having called many times, Mr. D.V.C still did not respond. Too scared, people shouted to each other to check and discovered that Mr. D.V.C had died. The incident was then reported to the authorities.
It is known that Mr. D.V.C works as a manager of a construction team at the construction site of An Thanh 63-64 road. On the afternoon of July 23, when the workers left, Mr. C continued to stay to pull the electricity to pump water at the construction site. It is possible that during the water pumping process, Mr. C was electrocuted, and due to not being detected in time, he died.

After receiving the report, the authorities of Thuan An ward were present to block off the scene. By 5:00 p.m. on July 24, Ho Chi Minh City Police had completed the scene investigation. The cause of death is being investigated.
