At about 6 am on June 16, people in Phu Long village, Phu Quy Special Zone (Lam Dong province) found a baby boy after about 12 hours of getting lost in the field area.
Previously, on the afternoon of June 15, relatives discovered that the baby was not at home, so they organized a search but could not find him. After receiving the information, many local people, along with the government and functional forces, supported the search.

On the night of June 15 and early morning of June 16, the forces divided into many small groups, searching in residential areas, traffic roads and fields around where the baby lived. The search work was maintained overnight but without results.

At about 6 am on June 16, in a field area quite far from the house, a search team heard a young child crying. When approaching the scene, everyone discovered that the baby boy was in the field and still safe.
At the time of being found, the baby had been lost for about 12 hours and spent a night in the field. Immediately after that, relatives took the baby home for a health check.

The baby being found safely after many hours of losing contact made the family and local people breathe a sigh of relief. Many people on the island participated in supporting the search all night to bring the baby back to his family soon.
Phu Quy Special Zone has a natural area of about 18km2, with a population of more than 32,000 people. Local people are connected and regularly support each other in life, especially whenever events occur.
