On December 23, the Social Insurance of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said that the Provincial People's Committee has issued a document directing the implementation of the Lunar New Year 2025 allowance within the unit's management scope.
In particular, those who are receiving monthly social insurance benefits managed by the Provincial Social Insurance (including retirement, loss of working capacity, work accidents...) are paid a Tet allowance of 1.7 million VND/person.
At the same time, beneficiaries who have passed away will also receive a Tet allowance of 1.7 million VND/family. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Social Insurance to make the payment together with the monthly social insurance allowance payment.
This allowance is an increase of VND 200,000 compared to the Tet allowance for retirees on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024.
It is known that those who will also enjoy this Tet allowance include war invalids and those who enjoy the same policies as war invalids; youth volunteers who are receiving monthly allowances; relatives of martyrs who are receiving monthly allowances; people who have contributed to the revolution and have been recognized; and people who are receiving monthly allowances according to decisions of the Prime Minister...
