On December 22, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said that it had directed the implementation of preparations for organizing and subsidizing the Lunar New Year 2025 in the area.
In particular, civil servants, public employees, and workers within the payroll and contract quotas according to Decree 111/2022/ND-CP who are working at agencies and units in the province; working at vertical units located in the province (Tax Department, Customs, Social Insurance...); armed forces... are paid a Tet allowance of 3.3 million VND/person.
Civil servants, public employees, and workers working at agencies and units in the health sector in the province will receive Tet support of 5 million VND/person.
In addition, many other subjects are also supported by Ba Ria - Vung Tau province at the level of 1.1 - 2.8 million VND/person such as: people infected with toxic chemicals who are receiving monthly allowances; soldiers discharged from the army and returning to their hometowns; people directly raising orphans and disabled children... families of officers and soldiers on duty during Tet at DK1 platform; students who are ethnic minorities...
The province also arranged funds to visit and wish a happy new year, and support the organization of the New Year for many agencies and units in the area; Heroes of the Armed Forces; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; people with meritorious services to the revolution; and the elderly who are 100 years old...
The Provincial People's Committee requests agencies and units to report and organize implementation so that beneficiaries can receive Tet organization and subsidy money in a timely manner. If there are any difficulties or problems, a summary report must be submitted before January 10, 2025.
