On July 18, the People's Procuracy of Region 12 - Lam Dong said that, based on the unit's proposal, people have been registered for birth registration to ensure personal rights according to the provisions of law.
Previously, through grasping the situation and coordinating with relevant agencies, the People's Procuracy of Region 12 discovered that Ms. T.T. H (65 years old, residing in Ma Lam village, Ham Thuan commune) had not been registered for birth due to many reasons.
According to functional agencies, the lack of a birth certificate directly affects the right to birth registration, health care, medical examination and treatment, as well as the basic personal rights and civil rights of citizens.
Implementing Resolution No. 205/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly, the People's Procuracy of Region 12 has verified the case, issued a petition requesting the Commune People's Committee to support the family to complete the dossier and verify personal information to register for birth.
From this petition, the locality directed specialized departments to coordinate with the commune police to support people in completing dossiers, verifying information and carrying out procedures for birth registration for Ms. T.T. H.
In addition to the case of Ms. T.T. H, the People's Procuracy of Region 12 also discovered 2 young children in Ham Liem commune who had not been registered for birth.
After the unit proposed, the local government supported the completion of the dossier and carried out birth registration for both according to regulations.
Timely detection and proposed resolution of cases that have not been registered for birth contributes to ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people.
