On July 15, Tan Minh Commune Police (Lam Dong province) said they had supported the verification of the identity and helped the lost woman return home safely.
Previously, during patrols, the Tan Minh Commune Police task force discovered an elderly woman wandering in the area with signs of fatigue, not remembering her residential address and unable to contact relatives.
The police force took the woman to the headquarters to rest, take care of her health, and at the same time encourage her spirit and verify information.
During the inspection, police officers discovered that the woman was carrying a photocopy of her citizen identification card, but the information was quite blurry and difficult to identify.
From this clue, combined with searching the National Population Database, Tan Minh Commune Police identified the woman as Ms. L.T. M (born 1968, permanently residing in Xuan Tho commune, Dak Lak province).
After verifying the identity, the police quickly contacted the family. It is known that the distance from where Ms. M strayed to her house in Dak Lak is nearly 500km.
Tan Minh Commune Police then supported Ms. M to pick up the vehicle and return to the locality safely.
Welcoming relatives, family representatives expressed their emotion and thanked officers and soldiers of Tan Minh Commune Police for their sense of responsibility and dedication to helping people in difficult times.
