According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, for many years, the old Ba Lan brick factory (in Bim Son ward, Thanh Hoa province) has been abandoned, infrastructure seriously degraded, and weeds grow rampant.

According to residents living near the factory area, the Polish brick factory was relocated out of the urban area in 2017. Since then, the old factory area has been abandoned and no longer operating.
Notably, the factory area has an area of up to about 10ha, located next to Tran Phu street - the central road and is considered a golden land of Bim Son ward.

Real-world records show that inside the factory is a desolate scene, many workshops are seriously degraded, with overgrown grass and trees. The roofing system at the workshops is broken, and many items have collapsed.
The 3-story operating building became a deserted, shabby house, covered with trees. Many bricks produced many years ago are still left in the factory premises.

Exchanging about the incident, a representative of the leaders of Bim Son Ward People's Committee, Thanh Hoa province, said that the land of the old Ba Lan brick factory has been included by the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council in the planning orientation for urban area development. Because the location of the land is quite prime, considered "golden land", the locality has made a proposal and hopes that the province will soon have a handling direction to avoid wasting land resources.

This brick factory is about to expire its land lease term. After the expiration period, it will not be extended further but handled in the direction of handing it over to the land fund center to organize auctions and implement the project" - a representative of Bim Son Ward People's Committee informed.
