Authorities need to strengthen the management of quality of infrastructure works. At the same time, the management, acceptance and payment of regular maintenance and repair volumes must ensure the correct volume, quality and progress.
The Department of Construction needs to strictly handle contractors who violate construction quality, progress, and volume. In particular, pay attention to strictly managing the quality and construction volume of contractors who bid at low prices to win the bid.
Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang also requested the Department of Construction to inspect the damages on National Highway 19, in the sections managed by Project Management Board 2 (now under the Ministry of Construction); at the same time, promptly propose immediate repairs to ensure traffic safety.
In recent times, Gia Lai has focused on investing in transport infrastructure to connect forests and seas, attracting investment in renewable energy and logistics services. Therefore, key transport routes play an important role in the socio-economic development of the province, as well as in the need to export goods abroad, mainly agricultural products.
