The incident of many cars breaking windows on the Quang Tri highway has more stories from direct witnesses who witnessed the developments.
On March 22, Mr. H.V. D - assistant driver of the truck, a witness to the incident - said that on the evening of March 21, he and the driver were moving on the highway from Ha Tinh province to Quang Tri when they suddenly heard a noise coming from in front of the cabin.
According to Mr. D, at more than 9 pm on March 21, he initially thought stones were thrown from the road surface. But then, he learned that many other cars were also in a similar situation, so he suspected someone threw stones on the highway.
We had to drive a little further to find an emergency stop. My car was only slightly dented in the front, but some other cars had cracks and broken windows" - Mr. D recounted.
Regarding the incident, the People's Committees of Bo Trach and Bac Trach communes (Quang Tri province) said that they have grasped initial information. Because the incident occurred at night, it is not yet possible to determine the exact location, and localities are coordinating to clarify.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported, on the evening of March 21, a clip appeared on Facebook recording the scene of many trucks having broken windows when traveling on the expressway through Quang Tri province. Some vehicles were heavily damaged, and the car windows were punctured.
