At noon on June 7, Dr. Le Huynh Phuc - Director of Binh Thuan General Hospital said that by 11 am on the same day, the hospital had received 19 victims in the traffic accident between a sleeper bus and a tractor-trailer that occurred on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway in the early morning of the same day.
According to Dr. Phuc, among the victims, 3 people were seriously injured, the rest were mainly slightly injured and scratched. Currently, 2 seriously injured cases have passed the critical stage after being actively treated by doctors and nurses.

Patient T.T. G. C (born 1996, residing in Khanh Hoa), a passenger car employee, is still in critical condition. The patient suffered a broken spine, ruptured spleen and multiple injuries.
Doctors and nurses actively performed emergency care, helping vital signs such as pulse, temperature and blood pressure temporarily improve. Due to the complex injury situation, Binh Thuan General Hospital organized a consultation with Cho Ray Hospital.
It is expected that when the patient's health becomes more stable, the hospital will transfer this patient to Cho Ray Hospital for further treatment.

For minor injuries, after first aid, bandaging and health checks, some people have asked to be discharged from the hospital to return to their hometowns or continue their journey to Ho Chi Minh City.
Previously, at about 2:30 am on June 7, on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway, Km30 section through Tan Hoa village, Tan Lap commune, Lam Dong province, an accident occurred between a sleeper bus with license plate 50F-040. xx and a tractor-trailer pulling a semi-trailer with license plate 36R-030. xx.

At the time of the accident, the passenger car traveling in the direction of Phan Thiet to Dong Nai crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer traveling in the same direction in front. The strong collision caused the front of the passenger car to be deformed and heavily damaged.

The Fire and Rescue Team of Region 9, Lam Dong Provincial Police came to the scene to take the victims in the passenger car out. After that, an ambulance took the victims to Ham Tan Regional Medical Center for first aid before transferring them to Binh Thuan General Hospital for treatment.
