At about 2:30 am on June 7, on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway, the Km30 section passing through Tan Hoa village, Tan Lap commune, Lam Dong province, a traffic accident occurred between a sleeper bus and a tractor-trailer.
According to initial information, at the above time, a sleeper bus with license plate 50F-040. xx driven by N.H. T (born 1977, residing in Khanh Hoa province) was traveling in the direction of Phan Thiet - Dong Nai.
When arriving at the above location, the passenger car suddenly crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer pulling a semi-trailer with license plate 36R-030. xx driven by L.S. H (born 1980, residing in Thanh Hoa province) traveling in the same direction in front.
The strong collision caused the front of the passenger car to be broken and deformed. Many people on the passenger car were injured and scratched, and no one died.
Immediately after the accident occurred, the victims were taken to Ham Tan Regional Medical Center for emergency treatment and first aid. Some cases were then transferred to Binh Thuan General Hospital for continued monitoring and treatment. Among the injured, a passenger car assistant was seriously injured.
At the scene, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Room 6, Traffic Police Department) and the route management unit came to handle the scene. Traffic police conducted a scene examination of the accident.
Talking to reporters, the leader of the Ham Tan Regional Medical Center said that after receiving a report from functional forces, the unit dispatched an ambulance to the scene to support rescue work.
In addition to the unit's ambulance, there were other ambulances passing by at the scene, so they also participated in taking the injured passengers to the emergency room.
According to the leader of the Ham Tan Regional Medical Center, the unit has received 7 people for emergency and first aid, in many levels, some people were injured, some people suffered minor scratches.
At about 5:30 am on the same day, after the police completed the examination, the rescue crane towed the passenger car in the accident away from the scene to restore traffic.
