On June 2, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 under Department 6, Traffic Police Department coordinated with local authorities and route management units to deploy forces to handle violations of the safety corridor on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway.
Through inspection work, functional forces have promoted propaganda and mobilized people living along the route to sign commitments not to graze livestock within the road safety corridor and not to cut down highway protection fences.

However, during patrols, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 still recorded many cases of livestock appearing in the expressway area, inside protective fences and at spontaneous openings. These cases were mainly detected on the route passing through Ham Thuan Bac commune, Lam Dong province.
Functional forces also discovered some people walking to approach or enter the highway. This is an act of violating traffic safety regulations, posing a very high risk of serious accidents for traffic participants and the violators themselves.
Over the past time, Lao Dong Newspaper has had many reflections on the situation of cutting and breaking highway protection fences and grazing buffaloes and cows in the highway safety corridor.

According to Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6, the unit will continue to coordinate with forces managing and operating the expressway and local authorities to strengthen patrols and strictly handle violations of the expressway safety corridor for acts such as: Walking into the expressway, grazing cattle within the road, dismantling protective fences, arbitrarily opening illegal walkways or infringing on road traffic works.
Functional agencies will also consider the responsibility of individuals and households for allowing livestock to enter the highway or arbitrarily creating illegal openings through protective fences.
