Ba Ria - Vung Tau - The fishing boat fire and a coffee shop fire that occurred in Vung Tau City were quickly controlled and extinguished by authorities and local people.

On January 12, firefighters and local residents quickly controlled and extinguished a fire on a fishing boat, preventing it from spreading and causing no casualties.

Previously, at around 9:20 a.m. on January 12, the fishing boat BV-97668.TS owned by Ms. D.T.B (residing in Ward 2, Vung Tau City) was anchored in the Ben Da area (Ward 5) when it suddenly caught fire. Black smoke rose and people quickly discovered it and reported it to the authorities.

Authorities quickly dispatched fire trucks to the scene, and with the support of local residents, quickly controlled and extinguished the fire. By around 10:20 a.m., the fire was basically under control, the fishing boat's cockpit was damaged and there were no casualties.

Earlier, on the afternoon of January 11, a fire broke out at a coffee shop near the Dong Xuyen Industrial Park. Authorities quickly arrived and extinguished the fire, causing no casualties.

Currently, the authorities are investigating and clarifying the causes of the fires to resolve them according to regulations.
