Duyen Hai Thermal Power Plant achieves impressive output

Tra Vinh - On February 5, Mr. Le Van Han - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited, wished a happy New Year and inspected the production start-up situation at Duyen Hai Thermal Power Company.

Joining the delegation were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quynh Thien, leaders of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Department of Industry and Trade; Economic Zone Management Board; Provincial Labor Federation; Provincial People's Committee Office; Duyen Hai Town People's Committee.

On behalf of the leaders of Duyen Hai Thermal Power Company, Mr. Ngo Van Sy - Director of the Company said that in 2024, the total electricity production output was 14,143 million kWh, reaching 91.7% of the plan assigned by the Corporation and 82% of the plan assigned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and equal to 144.5% compared to the same period in 2023. Electricity production revenue in 2024 was 25,695 billion VND.

According to Mr. Sy, in 2024, the Company paid 751.5 billion VND to the state budget, of which 200 billion VND was paid to the Tra Vinh Provincial Tax Department and 91.5 billion VND to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and 460 billion VND to the Customs.

The planned electricity output in 2025 according to the plan assigned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade to the factory is: 19,616 million kWh. Fulfill tax obligations and protect the environment according to regulations, promote ash and slag consumption. Coordinate with local authorities to implement social security.

"Recommend the leaders of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee to create favorable conditions and direct departments, branches and localities to coordinate and support the handling of existing records of land clearance for raw water pipelines operating Duyen Hai Power Center plants so that Power Generation Corporation 1 can soon complete land lease procedures according to regulations," Mr. Sy added.

Mr. Le Van Han - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province - praised and acknowledged the spirit of solidarity, efforts to overcome difficulties, and successfully complete the assigned tasks of the Board of Directors and employees of the Company in 2024.
