On December 28, a source from Lao Dong Newspaper said that in the past month, many officials holding positions of heads and deputy heads of departments at the Department of Finance of Dak Lak province have sent petitions to competent authorities, expressing their wishes to transfer to another unit; some cases have resigned for personal reasons.
According to sources, most of the officials who submitted applications have many years of working experience, have capacity, qualifications, practical experience and have been attached to the industry for many years.
The Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Department of Finance have grasped the matter, but have not yet discussed and made specific decisions for each case. Officials who sent petitions continue to work and perform their duties at the unit.
Real-world research shows that those who apply for job transfer or resignation are mainly born in 1976 or later.
The fact that many officials write applications does not stem from professional reasons but shows signs of behavior and culture in the workplace. This makes some people want to find a more suitable working environment.
An official who applied for a job transfer shared: "The reason is not due to expertise, but because the working environment at the Department of Finance is no longer suitable. I feel that I no longer have the motivation to continue to stick with it for a long time in this context.
Mr. Tran Van Tan - Director of Dak Lak Provincial Department of Finance - confirmed the above situation and said that the Board of Directors is mobilizing, persuading, and doing ideological work for officials to consider and continue to complete their tasks.
Upon receiving the information, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee and the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee's Party Committee said they are monitoring the case to have directions for reporting and handling when necessary.
Representatives of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee added that this is primarily an internal issue of the Department of Finance; when the unit cannot solve it itself and has petitions sent, the competent authority will consider intervening.
Regarding the incident, Mr. Ta Anh Tuan - Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - said: "I will grasp this issue again. The Department of Finance is a very important unit and personnel work needs to be strengthened.
The Department of Finance is a specialized agency under the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee with the function of advising on state management of finance, budget, fees and charges, public assets, financial funds, financial investment, accounting work...
With the role of one of the key departments of the province, the Department of Finance directly advises on allocating and deploying central and local capital sources, contributing to helping communes and wards effectively implement basic construction investment programs, policies and projects.
It is expected that in 2026, the total public investment capital of Dak Lak province will reach over 14,000 billion VND. Faced with this large capital scale, the task of the Department of Finance in advising, managing and disbursing capital is extremely important and heavy.
