Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan (living on Tran Hung Dao Street) informed that since early morning, many roads in Hoi An ancient town have been deeply flooded, people cannot move by motorbike.
In some places, the water of the Hoai River has overflowed the banks, flooding about 0.5-1m high. Businesses and stores are forced to raise tables and items to high ground or temporarily close.

Similarly, Mr. Diep Dinh Ke ( security and order group of Hoi An ward, Da Nang) shared with Lao Dong that on the morning of October 27, many places on Tran Hung Dao street were deeply flooded, the ward also stretched ropes to warn people not to ride motorbikes or boatets but to turn to other roads.
According to Mr. Diep Dinh Ke, from the night of October 26, the water level of the Hoai River rose very quickly, causing flooding of houses and the old quarter. Many families had to stay up all night to move their belongings to the attic to avoid damage.

According to information from the People's Committee of Hoi An Ward (Da Nang), the flood level at 4:00 a.m. on October 27 in Hoi An was 1.78 m and it is forecasted that in the next 12 - 24 hours, floods in Hoi An will exceed alert level III.
Local authorities have deployed warning ropes in deeply flooded and low-lying areas. If the flooding continues, the authorities will consider the preliminary plan of the people to ensure the safety of the network and assets.

At the same time, the People's Committee of Hoi An Ward also encourages people to limit travel on deeply flooded roads to prevent drowning accidents.
