    Binh Dinh - On October 29, Mr. Huynh Van Khuong - Chairman of the People's Committee of My Thang Commune (Phu My) issued a notice to find relatives for the abandoned baby in front of a resident's house.

    According to Mr. Khuong, at around 7:00 p.m. yesterday (October 28), passersby discovered a baby girl about 3 months old abandoned in front of a resident's house in village 9, My Thang commune (Phu My district, Binh Dinh).

    After receiving the information, local authorities took the child to My Thang Commune Health Station for a health check. Currently, the child is being cared for by local people.

    "After receiving news of an abandoned baby, the local authorities coordinated with information channels to issue notices to find the baby's relatives. The baby is now strong and in stable health.

    Last night, many people came to adopt the baby, but according to the regulations, they have to wait 30 days. If after this time, no relatives come to claim the baby, we will complete the procedures to hand over the baby to SOS Children's Village, or to the person who wants to adopt the baby," said Mr. Khuong.
