Many roads in Ho Chi Minh City restrict traffic to serve the race

On the afternoon of May 22, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police announced traffic adjustments to serve the 2026 Odonto-Stomatology Running Tournament - Steps of Love taking place on May 24.

According to the Traffic Police Department, from 8 am on May 23rd to 2 pm on May 24th, part of the sidewalk of Tran Quy Kien street (An Khanh and Cat Lai wards) was used to arrange water supply, medical, cheering stations and mobile toilets to serve the race.

On May 24, functional forces will restrict vehicles from circulating on roads belonging to the competition routes of 4 distances including 30km, 21km, 10km and 5km. People circulate along the remaining road and comply with the instructions of traffic control forces.

The 30km distance starts at 3 am and finishes at 8 am. The route passes through Nguyen Thien Thanh, Tran Bach Dang, To Huu, Mai Chi Tho, Tran Quy Kien, Nguyen Van Kinh, Bat Nan, Truong Van Bang... before reaching the finish line at the Creative Park area.

The 21km distance starts at 4:30 am, ends at 8:00 am; the 10km distance starts at 5:30 am, ends at 7:45 am; the 5km distance starts at 6 am, ends at 7:15 am. The routes are mainly concentrated in the Thu Thiem new urban area and surrounding routes.

The Traffic Police Department recommends that vehicle drivers when traveling through the race area need to reduce speed, comply with the orders of the traffic police force, local police and traffic signal systems.

Based on the actual situation, functional forces will adjust the appropriate traffic diversion plan to minimize the impact on people's travel.
