After a long period of being put into operation, Ben Nghe street, Tan Thuan ward, Ho Chi Minh City (section from the front gate of Nha Be Garment Corporation, No. 4 Ben Nghe street to the Luu Trong Lu - Ben Nghe intersection) has deteriorated, heavily damaged, and many "potholes and craters" have appeared, causing many difficulties for vehicles to circulate.
In order to ensure safety and smooth traffic, maintenance and repair work is expected to be carried out until April 8, 2026.
To ensure that maintenance and repair work takes place smoothly and on schedule, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police (PC08) recommends that people choose alternative routes as follows:
Route 1: Tan Thuan - Nguyen Van Linh - Tan Thuan 2 bridge - Nguyen Tat Thanh.
Route 2: Nguyen Van Linh - Huynh Tan Phat - Tran Xuan Soan - Rach Ong bridge - Pham The Hien - circle under Nguyen Van Cu bridge - Duong Ba Trac - turn around on Duong Ba Trac street - Nguyen Van Cu bridge.
Route 3: Nguyen Van Linh - Nguyen Thi Thap - Nguyen Huu Tho - Kenh Te bridge - Khanh Hoi - Ong Lanh bridge.
Route 4: Nguyen Van Linh - Nguyen Thi Thap - Him Lam bridge - road 4 - Trung Son roundabout - Duong Ba Trac - Nguyen Van Cu bridge.
Route 5: Nguyen Van Linh - road 9A - Trung Son roundabout - Duong Ba Trac - Nguyen Van Cu bridge.
The Traffic Police Department notes that vehicle drivers when traveling through the construction area need to reduce speed, comply with the instructions of functional forces and the traffic signal system.
Depending on the actual situation, the traffic police force will adjust the traffic diversion plan to minimize the impact on people's lives.
