Not only newly built, Military Region 5 also organized the repair and overcoming of 314 damaged houses in the Military Region, completing ahead of schedule as assigned by the Prime Minister. The houses are built solidly, with flood shelters, meeting safety requirements during the rainy and storm season.
Ms. Truong Thi Thieu (the household receiving the house this time) emotionally said that having a new house before Tet is something people have never dared to think of. Thanks to the concern of Military Region 5 soldiers and authorities at all levels, her family has had a solid home like today.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Tran Thanh Hai - Deputy Commander of Military Region 5 - emphasized that the construction and handover of houses to households affected by natural disasters is an activity to concretize the Party and State's policy on the rapid deployment of the "Quang Trung Campaign" launched by the Prime Minister.
Only more than 1 month after launching the "Quang Trung Campaign" at lightning speed, Military Region 5 has completed the task of building 610 new houses and repairing 314 damaged houses in the area, completing ahead of schedule as assigned by the Prime Minister, helping people celebrate the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 warmly, joyfully, and happily.
The Military Command of Lam Dong province recently summarized and evaluated the results of the "Quang Trung Campaign" implementation. After more than 1 month of deploying the lightning-fast campaign, units of the armed forces of Military Region 7 mobilized nearly 6,000 working days, completing the construction and repair of 42 houses for people to move in before the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo.

According to the latest summary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, to date nationwide, 34,759 damaged houses have completed repairs (reaching 100%); 1,046 houses rebuilt out of a total of 1,597 houses collapsed, collapsed, and swept away by floods (reaching 65.5%); Continuing to focus on building the remaining 551 houses, striving to complete them before January 15, 2026 according to plan.
