On January 12, the People's Committee of D'ran commune organized the inauguration ceremony of 17 houses under the "Quang Trung Campaign" for households affected by natural disasters.
Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam and leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and local departments and agencies attended the handover ceremony.

According to Chairman of D'ran Commune People's Committee Dinh Viet Dung, in the recent rain and flood, the locality suffered heavy damage. The rain and flood damaged more than 550 hectares of crops, hundreds of livestock and poultry died, and 137 hectares of greenhouses and net houses were damaged.
The whole commune had 46 houses heavily damaged, of which 17 completely collapsed and 29 were heavily damaged.

With the support of the Central Government and Lam Dong province, D'ran commune has completed repairing 29/29 damaged houses before December 31, 2025; and started construction of 17 new houses, of which 16 have been completed so far. The remaining one is expected to be completed before the 2026 Lunar New Year.
Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Vo Ngoc Hiep said that in 2025, natural disasters caused serious damage in many localities. In the last natural disaster of the year alone, the whole province had 41 houses collapsed, collapsed, and had to be rebuilt.
With the spirit of "no one is left behind", Lam Dong province has urgently launched and deployed the "Quang Trung Campaign" which is rapid, drastic, and full of humanistic meaning.

After a short period of implementation, all 41 damaged houses have been newly built with a total support cost of nearly 5 billion VND; 84 other houses have been repaired with a cost of nearly 1.7 billion VND.
The inauguration ceremony is not only about handing over houses but also showing the spirit of responsibility, sharing and affection.

The completion of the projects in a short time, ensuring quality, safety, and timely putting them into use before the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year has important political and social significance, towards the 14th National Party Congress.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province praised Military Region 7, the Department of Construction and departments, branches, and localities for closely coordinating, urgently constructing, ensuring progress and quality of the project; and congratulated households receiving new houses.
On the same day, Lam Dong province also organized the inauguration ceremony of the "Quang Trung Campaign" housing for 2 households in Nam Da commune and 6 households in Ham Thang ward that were damaged by natural disasters.
