On September 12, the Military Command of Phuoc Tan Ward, Dong Nai City is still on duty, ready to support people if the water continues to rise. Updated to the morning of September 12, the water has receded about 1m compared to the highest water level on September 11.
Previously, on September 11, heavy and prolonged rain occurred in Phuoc Tan ward, water from upstream poured in, causing the water level of the Buong River to rise, causing flooding in some residential areas.
The Military Command of Phuoc Tan Ward has mobilized forces of more than 50 people to coordinate with the Ward Police and grassroots security (about 40 people), organize rescue and support people to move people and property; set up checkpoints and guards at roads and deeply flooded and dangerous areas, not allowing people and students to pass through.
The affected area is in Huong Phuoc neighborhood, including groups 9A, 9A1, 9A2, 9B, 9B1, 9C, group 10 and group 17, 18; the highest water level is about 1.5m (in group 9B1), affecting about 320 households.
As of 11:00 PM on September 11th, no casualties have been recorded; property damage is still being statistically determined.
