The car that stopped and parked close to the railway track was hit by train SE19. The front of the car was heavily damaged, fortunately there were no casualties.
At about 8 pm on July 10, at Km7+400 on the railway line connecting Giap Bat station and Van Dien station (Hanoi), a collision occurred between a train and a car.
At the above time, train SE19 was traveling through the Giap Bat - Van Dien section when it collided with a 4-seater car with license plate 30A-461. xx parked close to the railway.
According to some witnesses, the car driver drove the car to turn around near the railway tracks. When he detected the train approaching, this person got out of the car and ran away, causing the vehicle to collide with the train.
At the scene, the car was thrown out of the railway area, the front of the car was heavily damaged. After the incident, the train had to temporarily stop the journey to handle the incident.
Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) confirmed the incident and said that at about 8 pm on July 10, train SE19 when running to Km7+400 in the Giap Bat - Van Dien section collided with a 4-seater car parked next to the railway.
Immediately after that, the train crew coordinated to handle the scene and continued their journey at 8:19 pm.
Currently, the cause of the incident is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
