On November 30, on Facebook, a photo was shared of a red Mazda car with license plate 30K-615.XX driving in the wrong direction at the entrance to the elevated Ring Road 2.
According to the person who posted the photo, the incident happened at the entrance to the elevated Ring Road 2, from Nga Tu Vong to Nga Tu So.
Under the post, many comments expressed outrage at the driver's behavior.
"Dangerous for yourself and others, very poor awareness," commented account Dinh Phong.
"With such clear images, it won't be long before the police call us in to fine us," Duy Pham said.
Previously, on November 15, people also reported that a car with license plate 30F-132.xx was reversing at the entrance to the elevated Ring Road 2 (section passing 162 Truong Chinh Street, Thanh Xuan District).
Immediately upon receiving the feedback, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department issued a document directing the route and local management unit to verify the owner of the above vehicle and send a notice, requesting the vehicle owner and driver to come to the police headquarters to clarify the incident according to regulations.
The elevated Ring Road 2 is a route reserved for automobiles only. Driving in the wrong direction or reversing at the entrance or elevated road poses a potential risk of causing accidents.
