On the evening of September 6, representatives of the leadership of An Quang commune confirmed that an accident had just occurred in the area, killing 2 people.
The incident happened at about 12:30 pm on September 6th, in Cau Thuong village, An Quang commune, Hai Phong city. The car was traveling when it plunged into a ditch. Local people, after discovering it, quickly approached and helped bring the victims out.
However, the driver and his wife (sitting in the passenger seat) died, and 3 people sitting in the rear seat luckily escaped. Initially identified, the victims were Mr. D. M. L (68 years old) and Ms. N.T. T (67 years old, both residing in Vinh Am commune, Hai Phong city).
This afternoon, the police agency was present at the scene, conducted an autopsy, and investigated the cause of the incident. The bodies of the victims have also been handed over to their families for funeral arrangements.
Functional agencies are investigating the cause of the incident.
