On the morning of September 4, information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of the Ministry of Public Security said that from information reflected on social networks about a car violating when leaving the highway, the CSGT force quickly verified, clarified the driver and handled according to regulations.
Accordingly, implementing the direction of the leaders of the Traffic Police Department, the leaders of the Road and Railway Traffic Patrol and Control Guidance Department and the Command of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 3, Traffic Police Team No. 4 conducted a lookup of vehicle data, identifying the violating vehicle with license plate 30B-308. xx.
Through verification, the vehicle driver at the time of the violation was B.H. T (born in 1985, residing in Hanoi).
Functional forces invited the vehicle owner and driver to the Kieu Phu Commune Police headquarters (Hanoi) to work.
At the working session, the traffic police force showed the driver the video and images reflected on social networks; compared with the surveillance camera data on the route and the history of vehicles entering and leaving the highway.
Based on the collected documents, the driver admitted the violation and wrote a report. The driver realized that his actions posed a potential risk of causing traffic unsafety, which could lead to traffic accidents, and committed not to repeat it.
Functional forces have made a record of administrative violation against the driver for the act of not complying with regulations when leaving the highway. For the above act, the driver was fined 5 million VND and deducted 2 points from the driver's license according to regulations.
According to the Traffic Police Department, receiving, verifying and promptly processing information reflected on social networks continues to contribute to improving the effectiveness of monitoring, detecting violations, and at the same time raising the awareness of self-discipline in law compliance of traffic participants.
