According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in mid-August 2026, most of the works within the project to expand alley 381 Nguyen Khang street (Cau Giay ward, Hanoi) have been demolished by the construction unit.
Seen from above, alley 381 Nguyen Khang street has become airy, different from the image of a small alley of only 4-5m, often congested like before.

Regularly moving through alley 381 Nguyen Khang, Mr. Tran Bao Phong (27 years old, Cau Giay ward) cannot help but be disgusted by the continuous traffic jam, which he describes as "torture" every day.
Previously, moving through alley 381 Nguyen Khang during rush hour was really very difficult. Many days, the flow of people moved little by little, it took 20 minutes still to get out of this alley. Hopefully the project will be completed quickly, helping the whole area become more spacious, and people's travel will also become convenient" - Mr. Phong shared.

Sharing the joy with those who regularly pass through the road, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha (22 years old, living in alley 381 Nguyen Khang) shared that the alley is small, and the traffic volume is large, so in the past this area was both dusty and degraded, and posed a risk of traffic unsafety.
In recent days, seeing machinery and workers focusing on dismantling projects, people around are all ready to support and create maximum conditions for the construction unit to work. I just hope the new road will soon be formed, restoring a spacious and clean living space for people" - Ms. Ha said.

The project to renovate and expand alley 381 Nguyen Khang is about 340m long, connecting the planned Thanh Thai road with Nguyen Khang road.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Cau Giay Ward Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board said that to implement the project, the government must recover land from 103 organizations, households, and individuals.
To date, 100% of organizations, households, and individuals have agreed to hand over the site.
Currently, the locality is implementing bidding to construct the project, setting a goal to complete the road in 2026, synchronously with the Ring Road 2.5 project in the ward.
After completing the expansion, alley 381 Nguyen Khang has a cross-section of about 21.5m, expected to contribute to improving people's travel conditions, reducing congestion and gradually completing the regional transport infrastructure.
