According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, after a traffic accident that killed a female worker in Tan Huong Industrial Park (Tan Huong Commune, Chau Thanh District, Tien Giang Province), the Traffic Police of Tien Giang Province increased their inspections, reminders and traffic control of cars transporting workers to and from enterprises in Tan Huong Industrial Park.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Anh Tuan - Captain of the Road Traffic Police Team of the Traffic Police Department of Tien Giang Provincial Police - said that the Traffic Police force of the Traffic Police Department of Tien Giang Provincial Police has increased traffic flow and route division to ensure order and traffic safety for cars transporting workers in the area.

For cars traveling in the direction of Tan An City (Long An Province) to Tan Huong Industrial Park, the car will use the side gate (gate 2) and vice versa following the route: National Highway 1 -> DH 31 -> gate 2. Cars traveling in the direction of My Tho City, Cho Gao District, Go Cong Tay and Go Cong City will enter and exit Tan Huong Industrial Park from the main gate.

Accordingly, vehicles traveling from Cai Be, Cai Lay districts, Cai Lay town and My Phuoc town (Tan Phuoc district) will enter and exit Tan Huong Industrial Park from the side gates (gate 3 and gate 4) following the route:

Provincial Road (DT) 878 -> DT 866B -> DT 866 -> Road No. 2 (Tan Huong Resettlement Area) -> Gate 3 and 4.

DT 866 (Phu My intersection) -> Road No. 2 (Tan Huong Resettlement Area) -> Gate 3 and 4.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Anh Tuan said that starting from January 1, 2025, the Traffic Police of Tien Giang Province will handle cars carrying workers that do not comply with traffic flow regulations when entering and exiting Tan Huong Industrial Park.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Anh Tuan also added that according to preliminary statistics, the whole province has about 350 cars to transport workers. Of these, in Tan Huong Industrial Park alone, there are 246 cars serving the transport of workers.

As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on the morning of December 24, Ms. Doan T.T - a worker working at a company in Tan Huong Industrial Park - stopped her bicycle on D1 Street of Tan Huong Industrial Park to answer the phone. At that time, a car carrying workers with license plate 63B-009.XX was stopping and suddenly reversed, hitting Ms. T., causing her to fall onto the road and be run over by the wheels, killing her on the spot.

After the accident, Chau Thanh District Police came to examine the scene and collect information to serve the investigation of the above traffic accident.

After that, the Trade Union of Industrial Zones of Tien Giang province gave support of 3 million VND, and the grassroots Trade Union and the employer where Ms. T is working gave support with a total amount of 10 million VND. From the mobilized source, benefactors contributed more than 115 million VND.
