Tien Giang - Chau Thanh District Police are investigating the cause of a worker shuttle bus that fatally ran over a female worker in Tan Huong Industrial Park.

On the morning of December 24, Chau Thanh District Police said they were examining the scene and collecting information to serve the investigation of a traffic accident on an internal road in Tan Huong Industrial Park (Tan Huong Commune, Chau Thanh District, Tien Giang Province).

According to initial information, at around 6:30 a.m. the same day, Ms. Doan T.T - a worker working at a business in Tan Huong Industrial Park - stopped her bicycle on D1 Street of Tan Huong Industrial Park to answer the phone.

At this time, a car carrying workers with license plate 63B-009.XX was parked and suddenly reversed, hitting Ms. Thuy, causing her to fall onto the road and be run over by the wheels, killing her on the spot.

Authorities are currently investigating and clarifying the incident.
