On New Year's Eve, the area around My Dinh Stadium was crowded with people flocking to watch fireworks. Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha (Tu Liem ward) and her husband and two young children chose an area on the sidewalk of Le Quang Dao street to spread tarpaulins to watch fireworks.
Ms. Ha shared that every year her family tries to arrange work to go to see fireworks together. "Everyone is busy all year round, so New Year's Eve is a special occasion for the whole family to be together. My two children look forward to seeing fireworks shining brightly in the sky" - Ms. Ha said.
In the new year, Ms. Ha wishes both parents to be healthy, husband and wife to be harmonious, and children to be obedient and study well. Besides, she also hopes that the work of both husband and wife will be more stable to have conditions to take better care of their children.
After a year of many upheavals, she hopes the new year will be peaceful, reducing daily worries so that the family has more time to gather together.
Not far away, Mr. Tran Duc Minh's family (Tu Liem ward) is also standing next to each other to wait for the moment of transition from the old year to the new year. Entering 2026, Mr. Minh hopes for smooth work and more opportunities for personal development.
