Conflict of interest between customers and investors
Scenia Bay Residence apartment is located on the coast of Nha Trang city, has a beautiful location and very high value compared to other apartments operating in the area. This is a mixed project, in front is a 5-star hotel, behind is an apartment.
After the investor sold apartments to customers in 2019, this place became a hot spot for conflicts of interest between the parties.
In early 2024, during the monitoring period, the inspection team of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council noted that at the mixed-use hotel, service and apartment complex project at 25-26 Pham Van Dong, there was no agreement between the investor and the Management Board on the handover of maintenance funds because the areas and equipment under common ownership of the apartment building had not been determined. On the other hand, there were conflicts and distrust among the members within the Management Board.
In addition, there are complicated disputes and conflicts between the investor, the Management Board, and the operating management unit. The management and operation of the common technical system, high water prices... have led to some households not paying water bills, not paying motorbike parking fees to the investor but paying directly to the operating management unit...
