Race for progress, finish in 2024
The Ring Road V project is 6.68km long, with a total investment of 699.3 billion VND. Construction started in 2021.
According to the Thai Nguyen Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (investor), the project has cleared 97.3% of the main route. Contractors are currently constructing the roadbed, foundation, and asphalt concrete pavement. Construction of the Main Canal Bridge and Troi Canal Bridge has reached 99% of the volume.
Other items such as trees, sidewalks, lighting systems... account for 11% of the volume.
The expected disbursement in October is 70 billion VND and the disbursement of the capital plan in 2024 is 32.4%. The investor and contractors committed to completing the project before December 31.
The Thai Nguyen Provincial Stadium Construction Project started in October 2022, with a scale of 15.47 hectares. The project has a total investment of nearly 536 billion VND, investing in the construction of a new 22,000-seat stadium, roof, and 1 international standard football field.
Currently, the contractor has completed the structure of stands A, B, C, D and is building walls and plastering inside stands A and B. The lighting project has reached 75% of the volume. The construction unit is installing fire prevention and fighting equipment.
Removing difficulties
The project of the connecting road connecting Thai Nguyen - Bac Giang - Vinh Phuc provinces has a length of 42.55km, with a total investment of 4,204 billion VND.
According to the Thai Nguyen Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the compensation and site clearance work has reached 99.68% and is expected to be completed in October. Currently, contractors are focusing on completing the roadbed, road foundation, and asphalt concrete surface. Construction of 3 large bridges has reached 52.8% of the volume, while the drainage system and other items have reached 85% of the volume.
Regarding the disbursement of the capital plan in 2024, it reached over 33%, equivalent to nearly 387.3 billion VND. The expected disbursement in October is 200 billion VND.
The project to build the Thai Nguyen Provincial Office Headquarters has a scale of 12 floors, with a total investment of 405 billion VND. The project started in June 2023 in Trung Vuong ward on an area of 15,000m2, with a total floor area of nearly 29,000m2.
According to the investor's report, the project's rough construction is 96% complete. Contractors are speeding up the completion of the surrounding walls and floor partitions, interior and exterior plastering. Construction of power supply, fire protection, and transformer stations.
Recently, when checking the progress of key projects and works in the locality, Mr. Trinh Viet Hung - Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee requested departments, branches and localities to coordinate with investors to promptly remove difficulties, ensuring the progress and quality of the works.
The Ring Road V project must be urgently completed before December 31. The Thai Nguyen Provincial Stadium construction project will be completed in 2024.
